Washington, D.C. – May 2, 2017 – Thycotic, provider of privileged account management (PAM) solutions for more than 7,500 organizations worldwide, today announced that it was named the winner of a Bronze Stevie® Award in the Fastest Growing Tech Company of the Year category in the 15th Annual American Business Awards.
The American Business Awards are the nation’s premier business awards program. All organizations operating in the U.S.A. are eligible to submit nominations – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.
More than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry were submitted this year for consideration in a wide range of categories, including Startup of the Year, Executive of the Year, Best New Product or Service of the Year, Marketing Campaign of the Year, Live Event of the Year, and App of the Year, among others. Thycotic was nominated in the Fastest Growing Tech Company of the Year category.
Since January of 2016, Thycotic has achieved a 66 percent compound annual growth rate (CAGR), and added more than 650 new customers during the year from across the globe. Contributing to Thycotic’s phenomenal growth are its thought leader research initiatives, groundswell of software and business industry recognition, revitalized channel program, increased maintenance renewal rate at 97 percent, strategic acquisitions, and continued product innovation.
“Being recognized as a fastest growing company is confirming the numbers we have seen this past year,” said Steve Kahan, CMO, Thycotic. “This growth shows strong demand and need for privilege account management solutions and we only expect numbers to increase in the coming years.”
More than 190 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners.
“Each year the judges find the quality and variety of the nominations to be greater than the year before. The 2017 competition was intense and every organization that has won should be proud,” said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards.
