Email security best practices

Protect your online communication from phishing attacks and shield your business from any malicious activity.

What are the risks?

E-mail is now considered a key tool of every business and at the same time an opportunity to cheat on e-scammers.

We could distinguish the challenges of message security into two major categories.

The first one deals with email scams that target the human factor, and the other one with malicious emails, mainly in the form of an attachment that, when executed, is installed on a computer and then spreads to infect as many computers as possible it can.

Phishing attacks

In this case, unlike other online attacks, messages that are commonly used do not contain malicious software or URLs, but take advantage of so-called Social Engineering.

Using a technique called spoofing, fraudsters try to trick users into thinking they have received a message from a boss, colleague, supplier, or partner.

Many of these attacks succeed because these misleading messages are extremely legal.

As this threat mainly concerns the user to believe the lie, it is usually not detected by traditional security solutions designed to detect attacks at a technical level.0
